Our winery dates back to the communist period in 1985, when our father began producing wine and brandy, with grapes cultivated on the little land that the then system left us, where initially the production was for family consumption and then for the surrounding area. In the first years of democracy in 1993, we began to expand our activity by increasing the areas planted with vineyards and producing in larger quantities and of better quality. Over the years, the passion of the two brothers Agron and Bledar and our father's desire to produce high-quality wines led us to establish the Arianit winery in 2017, investing in the construction of a modern winery with a new structure and contemporary equipment. Arianiti Winery owns 8 Ha of vineyards planted with some indigenous varieties such as Sheshi I Bardhe, Sheshi i Zi, and some international ones such as Merlot and Cabernet. Our winery is planning to plant about 15 more Ha mainly with indigenous varieties. The rest of the grapes we need are purchased from local farmers, completing the entire production cycle there. We collaborate with a group of Italian and Albanian Oenologists who have a company called Enologic Group based in Tirana-Albania, who offer specialized technical assistance for the production of wine and distillates. They also have an accredited laboratory for the physico-chemical, microbiological and organosensory exames of wines and distillates. Fermentation in our winery is carried out in a controlled manner, where for each wine typology a specific protocol is drawn up according to the best practices of the OIV. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks, where white wines are fermented at 11-12°C and red wines at 22-24 °C. The capacity of our winery is for the production of 200,000 bottles per year, where we currently produce about 65,000 bottles of wine.
